Uncle Al’s Seasoning

SECTOR: Herbs and Seasonings. DISCIPLINE: Brand Identity. TEAM: Mildred Center, designer and copywriter.

Uncle Al's brand identity design was meticulously crafted with one key element in mind—nostalgia. I aimed to tap into the precious memories of those cherished family dinners, where laughter filled the air, and flavorsome food brought everyone together.

At the heart of the brand identity design lies the Logo design. The carefully chosen color, a deep, rich burgundy shade symbolizes the unrivaled intensity of Uncle Al's Seasonings. Like those unforgettable family feasts, the logo color exudes passion, flavor, and a touch of class.

A distinct and harmonious color palette further enhances the brand's visual appeal. These complimentary colors for the product packaging serve as the perfect complement to the logo, resulting in a cohesive and visually stunning presentation when displayed together.

The imagery on the website or marketing collateral with a consistent look and feel of family and friend gatherings further instills the brand’s primary emotional element of nostalgia,

The journey leading up to the creation of Uncle Al's Seasonings began with the culinary prowess of Al Johnson, whose skill in frying turkeys was passed down from his father. As demand for his mouthwatering fried turkeys soared, Al Johnson came to a remarkable realization—his secret weapon was his seasoning and marinade.

Al Johnson made the bold decision to expand his product line. His goal? To create an all-season seasoning that would enhance the flavors of meats and seafood and breathe new life into fries, salads, and more.

With a brand identity steeped in nostalgia and a rich color palette that captures flavor essence, Uncle Al's is ready to bring joy to kitchens worldwide.
